Comprehensive Health Care Reform Is Necessary for the Country

2 February 2010

Total health care reform cannot be put off muchlonger . Fast growing health insurance costs are destroying government, business, family, and individual budgets . Employer-funded health insurance plans have increased in the last nine years, a ratefive times quicker than cumulative wage increases . This forces individuals to gather around the kitchen table and make impossible choices between paying their mortgage or paying health premiums . Given all that we spend on medical care , American families should not be presented with that decision . America expended almost $2.2 trillion on medical care in 2007 , or $7,324 per citizen - about twice the median of other developed developed . Will we be able to reform the country’s health insurance system before the price turns impossible? The current administration is trying to find a middle ground with the Senate approve health insurance reform law , and are interested about the matter call your representative .But success it will not be. To be sure, a diminutive version of health care reform law is likely to cause more bad than good, because it will render it more difficult to legislate of the true meaningful change that is clearly needed, crucial, imperative and will be unavoidable in the near future . Even today the House is discussing the likelihood of passing the reform legislation that Obama is attempting to enact.Let them know that the U.S. needs change before medical care expenses cripple our vibrant economy. Think about the children brought into the world these days who may not have access to medical care available to us right now because it is still affordable but may not be available tomorrow .
